Students were asked to reflect on their experiences after writing a science blog post for Layman Term’s Media. See what they had to say below.

Dorothy Hagmajer is a sophomore studying public relations at the University of Florida. Her story with Layman’s Terms Media confirmed her interest in health sciences and sparked an interest in health reporting.

Paige Levin is a freshman journalism and political science student at the University of Florida. She hopes to one day combine her passions for writing, government and politics to work in the nation’s capitol and bring the political information needed back to the people.

Victoria Messina is a junior journalism student at the University of Florida. Though she typically enjoys writing about fashion and events happening around the UF campus, she decided to try something new by writing a science-based article for Layman’s Terms Media.

Kristina Orrego is a fourth-year journalism student at the University of Florida. Kristina hopes to become a journalist at an online publication and write about important social issues and economics.
